Live for yourself before you leave yourself ✨

"Personality begins where comparison leaves off, Be Unique. Be Memorable. Be Confident. Be Proud".~ Shannon L. Alder

What it takes to be happy?

Ever wondered?

Gratitude ❤️ and Gratitude ❤️

Every person makes his own lifestyle and is happy with it untill he sees the lifestyle of other person or he forgets what he is blessed with,

Happens, happens with everyone! 🤷

But comparison is nothing but a recipe for misery!🥺

All it does is keeping you focused on what you don’t have, unlike others☹️

Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more❣️ If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough!

It is never bad to strive for something better and better but it is not good when you work hard for that moment and dont even enjoy it🤷

It is of no use when you can't be joyful of what you achieved since you sacrificed so many things for it and gave your whole heart and energy to that work or aspiration🌸

"Live for yourself before you leave yourself"

Whenever you find yourself looking at what other people have, remind yourself of what you’re grateful for😇. For me, that means appreciating my family, and the fact that I’m living in a home where I can bloom profusely in nurturing environment🥰So, shift focus from what you don’t have, to what you do have🦋

You will never be satisfied with rivers you have, you will always strive for oceans.🤷

Every minute spent on comparing your path to someone else’s is a minute lost on creating your own🌿

Everyday be proud of what you achieved✨

Look into the mirror 🪞

See how well you're doing in life🥰

Spend your time with your loved ones,❣️

since pennies don't stay forever 🤷

But, memories do ❤️

Granny's Patchwork of Love❤️

"Your Grandmother would've been proud of you, if she were here today" This is something I often hear from my family and relatives. She passed away when I was in Grade 8 and I miss her more as I grow older because now I understand what values she imbibed in me  My Grandma was a Social Science teacher and a Principal in a Government School, and my source of inspiration & guidance. She was an angel in disguise who taught me how to care. She was a spiritual person who believed in God and treated everyone with love and respect.  She always said "You never know when you are interacting with an angel, so be kind and generous always".  Since she passed, all I have is her fond memories, her valuable lessons & our laughs and giggles.  One particular thing she asked me to take as an advice as an oxigen canister in this fast spreading virus borne world.  That was -"Don’t ever let your ice cream melt while you’re counting someone else’s sprinkles.”

History isn't just about Past🤝

"To be ignorant of what occurred before you were born is to remain always a child, For what is the worth of human life, unless it is woven into the life of our ancestors by the records of History." - Marcus Tullius Cicero I'm often asked - What is the use or relevance of studying history? Why on earth does it matter What happened long time ago? The answer is that history is inescapable. It studies the past and legacies of past in present. Far from being a dead subject, it conmects things through time and encourages its students to take a long view of such connections.   Understanding the linkage between the past and present is absolutely basic for a good understanding of the condition of being human. That, in a nutshell, is why history matters. It is not just ‘useful’, it is essential. The broad span of human experience, viewed both in depth and longitudinally over time, is the subject of history as a field of study. History enables us to contemplate the e

An Orphan's Paradise ❤️

What is paradise?' Teacher asked. "Home,' the orphan in class replied. The reply hit the teacher hard, being a woman who couldn't conceive, it was a blessing in disguise for her💛 She adopted the child clearing all the formalities & said to the child, "Let me hold the door for you.I may have never walked in your shoes, but I can see your soles are worn, your strength is torn under the weight of a story I have never lived before. Let me hold the door for you.  After all you've walked through, It's the least I can do." ❤️ After the clouds of gloom hurled over the child's mind and the thunderous tears ripped his soul apart;  She came as a rainbow in his unkempt life and her colours healed his wounded heart❤️✨
